The Tourist Information board is the place to see everything that's happening for this year's Festival of Culture.
Vinyl Saturday and the Farmers' Market are all happening until 4PM today. This evening, Bridport Arts Centre hosts the premiere of Dorset by Night, the latest time lapse project by local filmmaker Stephen Banks. The evening starts at 6PM and entry is £5 (including a free glass of champagne and a selection of local food). The film will then play at the Tourist Information Centre throughout the festival, as well as being uploaded to YouTube on Sunday morning.
Today sees the launch of The Spirit of Bridport Festival of Culture, a programme of events lasting for 16 days, culminating in a spectacular beach party at West Bay. This afternoon, live music is playing in Bucky Doo Square.
