Torrential rain forces road closures in Bridport's country lanes

Broadoak Road, between Symondsbury and Broadoak, also flooded and impassable.
The road between Uploders and Askerswell has a high volume of standing water, which is only set to increase at rain continues to fall. Motorists are urged to take great caution on the country lanes.
This was taken in Loders, as rain water gushes out of an outlet and onto the main road.
Rain that has fallen all afternoon is now running off fields and onto country lanes around Bridport. This was the scene just outside of Mangerton, where traffic was forced to turn back towards Bradpole because of the volume of standing water on Mangerton Lane.
